Here is the update of the works so far. I am still trying to find how I want to progress in my study. I am exploring the high contrast to test the effect for the shock value. I am still trying to loosen up to make it more painterly rather than trying to control the brush strokes.
The ones with more dramatic (stronger contrast, greater sense of directional lighting) are more powerful than the others. They are all very scary. Push that aspect further.

ReplyDeletethe beginning shock value is intriguing, but in this day and age of crime drama television, our fascination with blood, murder, injury, death, criminality etc etc.....I would suggest making it even scarier to overcome the desensitization. Love it! Loved it even more in crit.
